anyone use a whites gmt?

i watch alot of videos and they show how to pump the coil over hot rock to get rite of them, but what do you do with all the little pieces of old cans, this thing is not useable.it just mades me crazy.theres not alot of places to detector that just has gold only. am doing something wrong? thanks brad

That area is tough to detect in general because of all of the metal tramp trash as well as the hot rock volcanics everywhere. Actually had some decent luck using a Fisher F19 and Gold Bug Pro around Randsberg. Simple to use machine and does a good job navigating the trash and hot rocks of the area.

The GMT has always struggled in these kind of digs
