While waiting for member(s) to pipe in - I searched Google with Nugget Headphones - got a bunch of hits.

What are your go to Headphones for Nugget Detecting ?
I'm looking to upgrade and wanted to know what everybody use's

Thanks,

Jeff
If I use wired headphones I use either Detector Pro Nugget Busters or the Grey Ghosts. It seems that Detector Pro has an upgraded version of their models called the Platinum Series. I just got the Detector Pro Uniprobe. It sounds good on targets, but I still have to test it on small gold nuggets. We've had a cold snap here in Colorado so I haven't been very motivated to go outside.

On my GPX 5000 i used Koss UR29s. They are the same ohms as the Minelab supplied ones but half the price and have a straight lead with volume control. I have a pair I used on my 5000 that lasted 3 yrs on that and I used now for a year on my Xrerra 705 and Garrett 24k. 4 years still going.
I believe the lead is way better than the curly one on the Ur30s.

Thanks Guys !!!!
