hoping someone can shed some light on what this is. Best measure without caliper is 3#. Belive to be bronze outside filled with lead inside. non metalic. Found w garrett AT Gold in Atlanta. Help me ID and Ill be your best friend. weighs 1 lb 4 oz. thanks in advance.

Wouldn't a 3 pound cannon ball weigh 3 pounds?
I also remember Cannonballguy saying there were no bronze cannon balls used in North America from best I can remember.
