Anything near Perth Australia?

I may be sent to Perth for a few months later this year. Is there anything within reasonable distance to Perth (less than a few hours driving) as far as prospecting or nugget hunting with a detector?

I am going to Perth. Will be taking a jeep trip to Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie. Do you know any stopping off spots along 94 ?
