Are these CW buttons?

I found both of these in west central Illinois and think they are civil war buttons. The button on the left says EXTRA QUALITY on the back and the other button is plain on the back. Any idea of value and where to sell them since I'm not a CW collector?

Im pretty sire they are CW but to get a expeerienced response, I would post these pic in the button forum. Someone there with a button ID book can give you specifics. Good finds. congrats.

The one on the left looks like a General staff, officer's button. It could date from 1850-1860s. The other button is probably a general service button that may date from the 1840s - 1865. If they are what I ID them as they are not really valuable.
You may want to post this in the "What is it" forum. You will get an quick and accurate ID there.
