Welcome to our version of insanity. Some of us are into this coin hunting for the thrill of the hunt. Finding the oldest coin or finishing a set might be your cup of tea. Others of us are money grubbing dogs who are in this for profit. As a guest or newbie, you will read some pretty wild stories of coins found in the wild. We have members who search with their allowance all the way up to spending thousands per week in search of silver.
One thing I have noticed in my time here is the guys and gals who do cents have as much fun searching as those of us doing halves.Whatever your budget will allow is great. Don't think all the good coins are gone. In this fragile economy, it is not unusual for large amounts of silver and collectible coins to be dumped on the market just to pay bills.
Once again welcome to our addiction, there is more than enough for all of us. Cheers and Happy Hunting, Jim

Coin Community Family? I know someone had a huge halves score a few days back.

Here were his stats for one box...simply amazing.

6 Walking Lib (1945, 1942, 1940, 1941,1944, 1941)
259 Franklin's
160 90% 1964 Kennedys
8 40% silver.

That huge post everyone is referring to was probably mine. I have been watching this forum for about 3 months but have not posted.
