Army/Air Force piece?

I found this My last hunt and Evan in CA commented that it looks Military with American and pics of props on it. Does anyone recognize what this could be? Any help or ideas are Greatly Appreciated!!!!

I see they came in both silver and gold . . . colors. They do not appear to be military issue.
