It was in a big jar of buttons in a material shop. It stuck me in the hand while I was looking for buttons.
 
With the ring at the bottom I think it had more to it like a dangling jewel or something like that.
 
Reproduction. Fold over safety clasp denotes it was made after the 1920's.
