Welcome to the site Indianaadrienne. Unfortunately, I don't see any evidence of any of those rocks ever being altered by man. They are all just naturally eroded creek stones. Very common in most creeks.

Looks to me to be common crinoid fossils - or at least the impression left where a crinoid once was (best in pic 14). The smaller rings with star looking shapes (pic 15) are also fossilizations of similar plants.

If the hole is the size of an arrow shaft, it will strip bark off when stuck through it many times.. the rest is magma, but that's just my personal thought.

Valparaiso. Had some family in South Bend, but not any more. Thanks guys, Just wanted to know. The long one is just so strange that I thought I would be sure. Love this site though!

Welcome Adrienne,! I'm just next door in LaPorte County.
You can tell you have the fever! Valpo's a good area and some of the creeks or sandy hills near them should allow you to find something.
Won't be long, you'll be on to them.
