I went to my property in Luthersville Ga yesterday after the rain. It is in a wetland area. I have seen a few arrowheads this year but found what appears to be a hatchet tool head? Not sure so posting. Thanks for the insight! 86616B4B-BF3B-4F6B-BFAF-603F7192C97A.webp677D10B4-3AB4-4202-A167-2E9D3ED29755.webp6FA8ACD1-E290-42E0-8D0A-11EFF1604D28.webp86616B4B-BF3B-4F6B-BFAF-603F7192C97A.webp677D10B4-3AB4-4202-A167-2E9D3ED29755.webp6FA8ACD1-E290-42E0-8D0A-11EFF1604D28.webp

Not a man made artifact imo, but the shape of it is the kind of thing that stands out and gets my attention when I'm out looking for artifacts.

No signs of being worked by man. Nature can do some amazing things. Go over to the North American Indian Artifact forum to see what to look for.

Same opinion here. Did you coat it with something shiny, or is it just wet?

Naturally worn stone. It is an attention getter but just natural
