Artifact?

Hello, Found this on the shore of Lake Champlain in Vermont. Not sure if it’s natural or if it was made. It’s a rock and has a divot on one side. There is know Native American artifacts on the lake.

Update. I’m pretty sure it’s made out of clay. Found stuff about game balls or marbles that Native Americans had. Unsure if that’s what it is or not.

About 50 years ago I bought a 1929 Chev coupe and in it's trunk there was a jar of 6 clay marbles in it. over the years it was "misplaced" or Mine were not shiny like the picture of yours. mine were dull like clay would look like. OH WELL , I'm to old to play with marbles or even get down to shot them anyway!
