Maine broad knife

This is the name i have given it as i have never seen another.Its a little over five inches long and about three inches wide.I believe it was hafted but im not sure if it was hafted like a knife from the side or like a flaked ulu from the top.Either way its a pretty unique find and like alot of Maine artifacts i have nothing for reference.This was a lake shore surface find.

Those are called ulu knives in the NW US. Here’s a modern made and also an ancient one from Europe.
