Hi. I found this today in a muster field in NH. It looks like a Royal Irish Artillery button, but I'm confused why it would be in a US muster field. Any ideas about ID and age would be most appreciated. Thanks.

British Royal Artillery, dates about 1790s or a little later. Would be considered War of 1812.

I agree with War of 1812 period. Remember, The Brits sent observers over here for a long time, and a lot of Brits still emigrated to the US after the Revolution.
