Asain signed painting Id needed.. japanese?

I bought 2 paintings they are set an have the same signature on both.. Does anyone know who this is or how to find out who it is? they are actual paintings not a copy.. thanks for all help.. btw I will get the other part upload sometime soon..

The scenery looks chinese, the two women look Japanese but could be chinese. In the signiture the "letter" above the nineteen in 1971 looks like the Japanese KO Many Japanese women have KO as the last part of their name (Mariko, Tomoko, Yuko, etc) But then the Japanese use a lot of the chinese alphabet.

Now I guess you are even more confused, sorry.

Yes, I ilke it but it is not antique yet. You can call it vintage and take it to some antique stores to sell
