Asian coin of some sort?

[cudamark]

Made of aluminum. Not familiar with this particular coin. Anyone recognize it before I spend hours looking through a bunch of coin photos?

Thanks Don, has been many years since I was here last. Wonderful to see you again.
Here is an update on my grand children. Akira just signed to play D-1 ball for the Universty of Binghamton
on a softball scholarship and she also got an academic scholarship. Luke has played all over the country and was in the sophomore world series in Florida this summer. And again wonderful to see you again.....Joe McDonough

Yes indeedy. Israeli 1 Agora in aluminium. Yours carries the number 723, which is for the Jewish year 5723. The Symbol for ‘5,000’ was omitted between 1948 – 1981. That would be 1963 on our calendar.

Joe, after about four years, it's good to see you back.

Thanks Don, I tried to log in with my original name and password but had no luck. Asked the mods for help but again no luck. Thanks for all your kind words in the past and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
