At an old convent, hoped I might find one, never thought I'd find two...

At an old convent build in the 1920's and now a retirement home. I can remember the nuns in their black habits with the rosaries and crucifixes as part of their daily garb. These were found about 200 yards apart, shown with a silver Rosie for size comparison. I've located about 10 silver coins at this site, mostly mercs...

Nice crosses. We had a thread on these about a year ago. I believe they were made in Europe in the late to middle 1800's , Germany comes to mind. Mine has all the little doodads such as the skull and cross underneath and the INRI above Christ's head.

Good one, stefen.

Nice finds P-guts.
Go back to the same place, and maybe you can find Jesus.

That's some cool crosses to bare...I think that would have been tough getting permission if it was still a convent. Great finds...HH jgas
