AT GOLD power up issue

Buddy shut down his AT Gold when we took lunch today,and now it wont power up,tried new batteries and checked connections and all seems good.Anyone else come across this?,is there some way to restart/reset other than what manual states?

Check connections in battery compartment springs may have compressed to much. Shake it a little when trying to power on and see if the screen does anything. Don't shake hard just a little to see if it's a battery issue. Worst case call Garrett and they will have him up and running soon. Good luck

I talked with Ken today, he is sending his AT Gold back to Garrett. He bought it from us used a few months back, but Garrett is repairing it under warranty. I love how Garrett takes care of customers!

The good news is he was finding colonial coins before it went down!
