At long last....after seeing everyone day after day relish their ring finds... I found one.

A cheap aluminum kids ring! Hahahaha..

Searched a school grounds today for an hour or so on my way home from Costco and found a few clad along with a couple of wheaties (1937 and 1941 I think.. I'll see better after rubbing a bit more) Then this high 20's rang out on the Nox and I set to diggin... I didn't have far down to dig..a couple of inches maybe and saw this dirty "RING SHAPED" bugger peeking out of the hole. I was a bit disappointed after seeing it was just a cheap kids ring but hey.... its my first ring anyway :tongue3:

Nice pair of Wheat Cents, and congrats on the ring!

There will be more! My first ring was a tungsten carbide wedding ring. To me it was almost worthless. To the husband and wife that lost it, priceless. They were so stoked when I returned it. Had been gone for close to three years. The big thing for me was, like you, I HAD found a ring. It worked! Now you have too....and there WILL be more. Congratulations.

Nothing like that roundness and pushing the dirt through to see a nice ring. Congrats and GL out there.
