AT Pro / any good on the beach ?

Works fine on Florida west coast...in the water and wet sand. Gets about two inches less depth than my CZ21...doesnt pinpoint in the water as good as my CZ.

There are better machines for wet ocean sand and for nugget hunting. It will work, to a point, but don't expect a lot.

I have use an AT PRO in AZ. and it does very bad. and as far as salt water in Fl. you loss a lot of depth, in the wet sand not to bad.

I have one and it works great on dry sand (Miami beach) but there are better water detectors. If you're going out once in a while in the water its fine, but not an everyday salt water machine. I just started detecting 8 months ago and I already want the Excal.
