I'm sure all is well.....
I've gone 20-30 hours before I lose a bar on the indicator.....
As long as you are getting good signals, and the targets are worthy...no worries.
You can ride that down to one bar, then the machine will freak on you when their dead...
Hold off on the reset, and don't send her back yet....

No worries - I can go 12+ hours without a bar drop on battery.

Enjoy!

Awesome.......thanks for the answers!

I carry plenty new batteries with me. I usually change them before the second bar goes out.
plenty of gadgets around the house to use the old batteries in. The ATP does get great battery life.

At pro is amazing on battery life! Not like my E trac that I can almost watch the battery drain lol

I have been getting about one silver item per battery change on my at pro.

I have already found a small silver ring, and have two bars to go... lots of hunting ahead before my next silver :(

I seem to get many days of use (with good quality batts) before any drop, then like a lot of things with battery meters, it drops faster after the first bar disappears.
Very cold weather will suck the stuff/juice out of them in a hurry though. Good to have a spare set in your pocket (warm) when it's freezing.

Has anyone else noticed that the battery indicator will go back up a bar after turning the machine off for a bit? Happens to me all the time, I'll have full bars (I like to always run with full bars, I know there is a voltage regulator but it makes me think it has full power lol) and it will drop to 3 bars. I will pack up and head to a new spot and when I turn the AT back on I am back with full bars :)

I got in the habit of turning it off every time I dig a target. Good or bad I've gone 3 to 4 different hunts before I lose a bar. Probably 25 to 30 hrs.. It is good on battery life!

I dug 1130coins last year and changed the batts. on the ATP one time// I keep a batt. stick in the truck just in case// also a 9volt for the PP. Perry

Just don't use rechargeables.

That's exactly what I do
