AT Pro Behavior Question

My AT Pro is going off on objects off to the side very easily. Is this normal behavior? It is giving me pinpointing trouble because the bars are maxing on the pinpointer before the object is under the middle.

That's fairly normal. I can't get within 2' of a chain link fence with max sen. You could try lowering your sensitivity down to around 4-5 bars and/or a smaller coil. Any coil can read a target not just below but to the sides and above the coil itself.
