Great finds.

Its a hook of some kind, just can't see it well from the pic. I think it's a rifle sling hook, I picked it up at almost 9" deep!!!!!

Hey there Mo..........what is the item that has an arrow pointing to it? I was hunting a Civil War area last night and I believe I found one of those too. BTW...where in Mo are you from? I am in Jackson, Missouri.

It's a rimfire round of some kind. Around .44 I'm guessing. Yea, it's great to find CW Relics in Missouri. The war
did not last long as far as major actions, so we have to find the camps to hunt. I have no info on troops having
"Winter Quarters" out here. The boys in the east are lucky that they can dig the huts and get fantastic finds. The Army of The Frontier (Union) Was not very well supplied and was issued very little in the early 1861 time frame.
