ATP depth meter

I have been using my ATP for 5 years--love it BUT it reads twice the real depth// 6" = about 3", 4=about 2" 2= surface//
anyone else have this problem ?? Perry

Keep in mind the difference from the target is not just from the top of the ground to the target, but from the bottom of your coil to the target. Also, I have found, slowing your swing down, and pinpointing while flattening the coil on the ground will give you a more accurate "true depth" reading. You have a Great machine! HH!
