ATPro factory reset

Today I noticed immediately that I was not getting any low tone in Pro zero. I turned it on and off, scrolled thru the modes but nothing worked. I thought I had a crapper on my hands. Then I got thinking Factory Reset. All better now. I just wanted to throw that out there for all the atpro guys and dolls.

I had them last night! False signals,fantom signals,machine sounding like a machine gun,ect. Sometimes,the EMI is just too much,WiFi's,cell phones,you name it! I couldn't find a "clean channel" and had the sensitivity all the way down.Every house around ours has WiFi (including ours too). Sometimes,ya just gotta get outta town to get good results.

Yes I saw that, bad solar flares, and believe it or not it can make all electronics go nuts.

Did it just quit,Roy? I turn mine off,then power it up and hold the mode button down until I hear two tones. I think mine takes longer than the stated 5 seconds though?

Well, I tried it yesterday because I was getting a lot of static that I couldn't cancel out. I did the push button thing, got the 2 beeps, but it didn't reset.
I put frequency on F1 and set ground balance to 10 ...did the reset, got the 2 beeps.... frequency still on f1 and gb still on 10...I tried removing the batteries and letting the capacitors discharge, but it still does the same thing.
I'll take it out today, with my other two detectors and see if it is missing anything....I may have to give Garrett a call...Hope not!
