there are also thin brass or copper plates - 1 knurled bar can't identify except for a hunch - part of a belt buckle maybe - lead lump and a sample of the glue tubes - God help us, there ...

the cigarette box I think is 19th century but can't get a date mb someone can identify from the hallmarks - a lion and a small (e)

the copper tube looks remotely maybe like a shotgun casing but it has an overlap of the thin copper plate so it might not be, anyone can throw light?

Thank you, I’ve been detecting hard for something of that century for almost a year now, very tough finding, there was even broken glass above it, it might’ve been punctured with the broken bottle, or like you say it was shot at, quite plausible, weak 90 91 reading on the Manticore 10” down in stuck on black mud..

The coins pale with the silver, never found with a detector, surface finds silver yes. Anyways, even in an old park, one still finds 1999, 1982, 1979. I think the older ones sank too deep. If the cigarette case was @ 10” deep and was as big as a raft🤣, the smaller coins 125 years later might’ve migrated even deeper.
