August 2013 Finds - Some Silver and a Class Ring Return!

August produced some good results even with the heat. Gotta fight through it! See my signature below for links to prior months finds

Even though I didn't strike any gold this month I was able to finally return a class ring I had found last month.

Here are my August 2013 notable finds:

Some clad and plenty of wheats (not pictured)
2 junk rings, one of which was an interesting tin ring with the Baltimore Orioles logo on it (logo in use from 1954 to 1964).
A wheat penny that looks like it was run over by a train (upper right of the photo)
A vintage Girl Scout pin

Hi Ed very cool finds, Fall is coming and look forward to September finds.

I look forward to fall. I don't mind the heat really, but there are good areas that are covered in tall weeds during the summer. Getting back to them in fall and winter is worth the wait.
