Due to the Fact it is Illegal to Treasurehunt Shipwrecks
in Austrailia Waters.
And TreasureNet does not Condone Breaking Laws,
Please Refrain from Discussing Treasure hunting these Wrecks
on TreasureNet.

Thanks for your cooperation.

mercinarie, yes you can dive on wrecks as a diver for the enjoyment of the sport of scuba diving. Some wrecks that have been deemed as historically important or war graves are out bounds. These lists can be obtained from the Dept of Substantiality and Environment or Heritage Western Australia.

All of this will be explained to you when you go for your Dive ticket, part of the requirement. Most of the wrecks have a boundary of 200 metres which means you cannot take anything found within that boundary. If anyone gets caught there no excuses.

I pass no jugdement on you and you are free to do as you please, i,m just trying to let you know the facts.I have had A PADI open water permit for 20 years

Howdy,
Better late than never, North Centrel Victoria. Alot of great sites to hunt where i am, many a ghost town remain along the mighty Murray and always good hunting, and researching. My best find would have to be a 7.5 inch jar filled with gold teeth 9which coincidently is my most bazaar find)

Thats me out.
Grim

Welcome aboard mate.
A jar full of gold teeth?? Bloody hell mate, that would've weirded me right out. :-X
At the end of the day though it's still gold ;D
Good luck out there and happy hunting.
