I am a complete novice in the arrowhead hobby and just bought these three. I was hoping, based off these pictures, if someone could help me and identify these as legitimate Native American arrowheads? Or something created/restored more recently? Thanks! I would say that you did good. Definitely real relics. Post them in the North American Indian Artifact forum for IDs & ages.

I will move thread to Indian Artifact forum.

Yep, those are certainly authentic. Where are they from?

Thanks for the reply. I bought these from a collector in Florence, Alabama. I believe they were found in that area. Thanks

Yes, and nice ones too.

While there are some fakes that are hard to tell, they are usually perfect and of styles that are of high collectors.

The other small fakes you see often are the wrong material and are usually too perfect. The stuff used for jewelry or often seen in antique stores.

Those are nice.

I agree with everybody, but I would recommend that pictures be taken on a plain background instead of a busy print. Makes it a lot harder to see what you have. Nice points and welcome aboard.

Looks good to me, definitely material from North Alabama.

I think a couple of those are made of Ft. Payne chert. Especially the first one. Gary
