I am still working on identifying the objects found on the Treasure Coast after the strong winter storm. Visited a numismatist who specializes in the fleet. Confirmed that the items are gold and potentially are clusters of gold nuggets.
Four years of daily hunting with no results. A day after a huge storm and found success. Still a rookie.

That's the way it works on the Treasure coast, sometimes a perfect storm will toss goodies ashore, then the next high tides drag them back in the water. Unfortunately, you never know when it will happen, and it doesnt happen that often, it all depends on the angle that the surf and wind is coming from as it hits shore.

I've seen storms take 3 feet off Daytona beach and next time it dumps 4 feet of pure sand on top of Daytona beach.
