Has anyone used the Automax Precision V4 Pinpointer before?
Is there any pros and cons to it?
and is it worth $50.00 if I was to buy one almost brand new?

They work fine, just way to big and bulky and a pain to carry around.

to big, to bulky, hard to store and carry, switch is real easy to bump when storing, next time you go out the battery is dead

Like the others have said, it is a pretty good sized unit which is probably the only thing I don't like about it. I've been using this one since last fall and it does a good job though. For $50, I'd say buy it. And like the others, the knobs turn very easily and with a little bump they will turn on you. $50 isn't bad though.
