I think this is chalcedony but I do not know material types very well

so what kind of material is it??

is this an avonlea projectile point or what? it is too heavy for an arrow point

I have some more like it but they are made from TRSS

If I were to type it Larson I'd call this one the Prairie Side Notch. The three Beautiful ones that your friend Russie is holding I would call Plains Side Notch Points. All are great pieces.
 
Avonlea points are the first side-notched arrowheads on the Northern Plains. That point looks like an older Besant spear/dart point (or knife) that has had quite a few resharpenings.

I've seen a lot of that white material, it probably has a name but I don't know what it is.
