That rings a beauty in itself great find well done, you do not get finds like that everyday of the week, or even month.
May I suggest you get a second opinion and appraisal because it could be that the person you took it too had plans to try to buy if off you hence a low figure..

Its your find good luck hope its not too long before you find another like that, there are still some good finds to be made all you have to do is dig it up

My friend don't waist your money for this kind of appraisal.
The real value of this ring is the stone: if it's real,bigger than a 0.99 carat,clear and the right color.
Remove the stone and send to GIA for estimate.
When you receive your stone back with the passport of it,will be a real deal.
