First Off this is My Friends Find not mine.

A friend of mine went out to a awesome spot on his friends Private property In Northern Ca.. They knew there was some history there and a known 1800's military outpost not too far from the area.

He sent me the Text yesterday with these pics just shortly after making the finds, Talk about the most perfect Eagle Breast Plate Ever!:hello2::hello2:

He also found a monster round ball and a cool lock among many buttons. It is so awesome to see a find like this let alone out of northern Ca. Hope you all can appreciate and enjoy. Super happy for Dan!!:blob7:

Northern Calif., Hmmmm...........not so very far from Southern Oregon, so there IS hope for something like THAT out HERE. Great stuff, great place, detector guy's dream.

Heck yea there is, Ca was a state of the union in those times(Ca 1850, Ore 1859) so they had outposts. Nothing like back east but a few none the less.. I hope to stumble onto one of these sights myself one day. :)

Is this the same site that the reale came from awhile back ? If so, we've done extensive md'ing /research around there. Congratz ! (I hate you , haha)

Great Eagle Breastplate! The button with GAR stands for Grand Army of the Republic. Hard to believe you found the breastplate and Eagle Staff buttons in California! Outstanding!!! Devonrex
