I have found a number of different forms of these coupler pins. This is the first marked one I have found. Train cars used to be fastened together using link and pin couplers. Amazing! That's awesome that it has the B&O RR lettering on it. My parents have a large property that is directly adjacent to the B&O line in Martinsburg WV so I thought I might have a good chance to find some railroad debris. This was my FIRST dig and after a few aluminum cans I found this!
