Baby Eagles in nest

Eagles nest at the George Stevens Dam at Sinnemahoning State Park in Potter County Pa. I stopped by one day last summer and a guy had a spotters scope set up I took my digital camera held it over the lens this is what I got there was 3 in the nest Bob

Is it just me, or are they black in color?

I've been thinking of trying a shot like that, the 10X zoom just isn't enough sometimes.

they are brown mabe the lighting isn't what it should be the way I did it I don't at what age they get the white feathers on there head
