Great find. On the beach?

No, an old 1950's school yard.

What did that sound like on your machine?

Excellent. Sounds like a nice place to hunt, keep it up.

Was using Garrett AT Pro. With 8x11 coil. Don't remember the numbers. But hit a high tone. It was a good 6 1/2 inches down. Was surprised I found it.

Compared to your whites M6, what do you think about your AT Pro? I love my MXT, but I would like to have an AT Pro to do some hunting below bridges/swimming holes/rapids.

Really like my M6. Didn't think the AT Pro would get me as deep. But after getting some experience with it. Not a bad machine. My only complaint is, I'm having a hard time with nickles. My M6 ID's them much better.

The nickles should be right at 52 on the VDI.

Found this silver baby ring last weekend. Thought it would be fun to see who found the smallest gold, or silver ring.

cool find!!!..dug up this young kid's ring on a 1800's home site. It's smaller than a dime and is not marked sterling but appears to be. Is it mother of pearl:dontknow:

Very Nice, how deep did you find it?

nickels for me show 51 or 52....sometimes not the cleanest signal. I really have to listen for it.
Mine come up 52 or 53. Not always clean, sometimes bouncy.

Hmmmm, musta been for the pinky toe! ;)

Always a pleasant find.

The range is very close to pulltabs. I call those hits nickel/tab hits. :) One thing I've noticed though, with the ATP, when you pinpoint a nickel the sound volume will increase a bit. Hope that helps.

mine hits nickles really good always 52 vdi nice repeatable mid tone
