I know the honey hole is about cleaned out. I am now hunting there when I have no place better to hunt or only have a short time to hunt as it is only 1/2 mile from my house. Today the very first good signal I got was a merc. I swung over the plug before moving on and darn if there wasn't another one about 6 inches away. That makes 14 silver coins from this site.

Well, that was all she wrote for the next 3.5 hours. It was cold and windy and I was not properly dressed but I toughed it out. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and gets a chance to get out hunting. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

light snow and 19 degrees kept the md in the house....*sigh*

Glad to see someone score some silver !!!

Don't you hate it when the hunt starts off great then nothing the rest of the hunt.

Still a couple of Great saves, Congrats!!

I bet the friendly little competition between you Carolina boys helped you brave the cold. Nice finds!

good job sticking out the cold and grabbing up a couple mercs!, good hunt!!

Great finds for a chilly and windy day. Between you and CT all the silver is disappearing from the ground fast in N.C.

Good work Jay.

That's been a great site buddy. Why don't you pull out your Vino doll and jam a few pins in that ugly lil piece of cloth, stuffing and gray hair. Sounds like a fun thing to do 8-)

Good job sticking' it out - the sun was nice but that wind cut like a Lesche!

We stuck it out also up here in Virginia! Not an enjoyable day!! Conrats on your finds!

Nice going Jay..
Keep up the good work.

Nice job on the Mercs!! It's great to have a go to site, you know as long as you're swinging your coil there is a chance. I have a couple properties like that! One place has been my best door knock producing 16 Silvers, and the other 5 LCs, 1778 1 Reale and the most BEAUTIFUL INDIAN I have ever seen. Congrats

Keep up the good work.

When it's practically April and the temperature is in the low 20s when I get up that's something to whine about. Factor in the wind. Not ideal hunting conditions.

Mercury is rising!

Nice pair of Merc's.
Congrats.
