Beautiful keg tap. often the handle is broken off rather than the part that goes in the barrel. Neat find!

Here's close to what the back looked like. (missing the handle on mine ;D)

The style of yours looks a little older than what we are showing. My own guess would be from some time in the first quarter of the 19th century, perhaps a bit older, although you often find pewter used for taps before that time. (I was just trying to judge the metal on the older ones and I believe it is a mix of lead rather than pewter)
