Wow, must be really nice to have a place in SoCal that's private property and there's gold! Good for you. As a fellow SoCal newer prospector, I'm so jealous. Good for u, and I watched many of your videos when I first started out so thank you! Helped alot. If u ever need another set of hands out there, let me know! Be well.

Beautiful country back in there. Would love to camp with y'all for a couple days :-)
Just kinda curious.... What does Wayne think the weight is in that wood box?

I'll take a stab at it - looks like three half ounce vials full of gold - one and 1/2ozs.

We never weigh our gold...if you start thinking money it stops being a hobby and resembles work....the 1 1/2 oz guess is probably close.

Our friends are from SoCal...we are in Tuolumne county near Yosemite.

On video, it looks easy to find the gold in the cracks and crannies
of a dry creek bed. But those that have worked for it, know better.
Great job HH. Gold Nuggets :hello:

Yup, remember when reading a placer, read it as if it was moving in a storm not how it is now.. Gold moves from storm current/friction to be exact but anyway.. So gotz to keep this in mind..
