Yesterday I returned to the spot that gave up 3 Mercury dimes on Tuesday.
I did a quick check on Google to get the Construction dates of two houses that were directly across from the lawn I wanted to search.
One was built in 1950, (not bad). The other was constructed in 1924. (most excellent).
The search went on for about 3 hours before my first Silver dime showed up. Directly across from the house built in 1950, I took possession of a 1942 Mercury. I wish I could say that I found another silver right away but it took another 3 hours before a 1920d popped out of the hole.
All in all it was a very good day for me. I recovered a Saca Dollar, a Jet Fighter, 3 Wheat pennies, a 1949 Canadian Penny and a very rare "#104 Tag," along with a nice pile of clad.
