Got back from Colorado, shook off the jet lag and got out to do some MDing. Found that it's colder and windier here than it was in ski country. Checked out a wooded area I haven't hunted in a few years and found that there's still stuff there.

A couple silver pieces:

that is amazing! ;D Great job! out of curiosity what did the silver bracelet "beep- (ring)" as ?

Scots Gaelic,
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I was away for a couple days. The bracelet sounded and read like a big piece of silver or a big piece of beer can. There were a lot of chewed-up beer cans in the area were I found the bracelet and I wasn't sure if I had found another one. The bracelet was underneath a fallen tree branch, which I had to haul out of the way so I could get a close up signal to see if the target overloaded. But it didn't overload when I put the loop right on top of it, so I figured it was something good. It was only about an inch in the ground after all and it was almost totally black when I dug it up. Of course a good rubbing with baking soda cleaned it up nicely. It's pretty heavy, about 2 ounces of silver. Made my day. HH.

SB,

very nice group of finds.

Congrat on the silver; those insulators are
getting few and far between.

Again, nice. Thanks for posting.
