Today I went to a tot lot just newer clad. Was using a Tesoro Cortez
Then went to my house lot again and got some more nice finds.
Found a 1903 Barbra dime

A backwards swastika pin. Says Sterling on the back looks like it might had blue paint inside the lines. I believe it might had been a long right angle straight pin but had since broke away

1920 to 1933 Winchester leader 12ga shell base

1908 Oklahoma city Dog Tax tag

Electrozone water Co. Token good for 1 free empty bottle. Was a well warter company in OKC

Old Yale key

Today was awesome. Since I have found really good finds have slowed down and tried to dig just about everything. Did find some trash but it was worth it. 20210524_132555.jpg 20210524_132110.jpg 20210524_214512.jpg 20210524_132220.jpg 20210524_131951.jpg 20210524_132147.jpg 20210524_132158.jpg 20210524_131959.jpg

You found a backwards swastika and a dog tag shaped like a Star of David. That's a strange coincidence if you ask me. Gary

Your 1908 Oklahoma City Dog Tag is very unique looking, I've never seen one shaped like this before.
I can't see this being the most comfortable tag for an animal to wear, so possibly a short-lived design and it maybe rare? :icon_scratch:

Great finds,
Dave

Yeah im sure it was probably short lived. But I have a 1926 tag from OKC and it is round. Maybe you had a few choices for shapes.

Good finds!! The swastika was a good luck image long before the Nazis.
Right the Oklahoma 45th infantry had a swastika on there unit patch up to 1936. Until they changed it because of Germany. They voted on the Thunderbird they use today.

Great haul - congrats !
And yes, the Swastika was a good luck symbol used by many for a long time.

Oh gawd! Oy Vey! The Swastika was a very common symbol from tile to logo's for certain Companies as well as Native American clothing. Cool finds though!
