We have had really bad weather for the last month over here in New Zealand, it is winter 
. Unfortunately I have not got out detecting for the last month so have spent the time doing some research 
on the land wars over here (same era as the civil war). Since starting to do this hobby I am surprised with how much more I noticed when driving or walking, mostly just the rubbish on the side of country roads however I noticed this on the sidewalk when out shopping. It's an earring and its got 925 stamped on it, not sure about the stones however it is silver
