Bad news from the half dollar bank...

Hi all, just thought I would share the bad news. I went to my half dollar bank where I worked my way up to 3 boxes they order for me whenever I request(once a month or so). I went there today and tried to order 4 boxes(pushing my luck, and the luck bubble popped)... they said they will order me 4 boxes once and only once. they come in next week. They even told me they will not order me 3 boxes, and 2 boxes is plenty. (the tellers are getting lazy!!) . Needless to say, I am a bit upset, but that's how the game of CRH goes, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

I might just have to order 2 boxes of half dollars twice as much to make up for it

Anyway, the tellers are REALLY nice in this specific bank, the thing is that they are all smaller women(sorry for all you women on here), but I think that is the reason for the cut back.

I have been into their vault and it is SMALL. 3 boxes takes up about half of it, so I can see why they cut me back. I am always there the day of the delivery to pick up my coin,

Guess I am going to have to try a different bank for halves. Maybe BofA, but they told me they have a fee, you never know, they may not anymore. I am not going to pay to do CRH, then that would be considered gambling.

I used to get cents from a specific bank on a regular basis; probably four boxes or so a week. The very DAY I was going to try to move them to "half dollar order bank" status, they told me they were going to start charging me a $6.50 PER BOX fee on the cents............

They are now processing about 1K a week in halves that I deposit.

They chose to play hardball, they had no idea I play in the majors.

No dumping is to be made on this bank, they are still ordering me coin(just going to order twice as often now)

I am just happy the F WORD did not come out(fees). As long as the boxes are Face value, I am happy.

String here. Although I have had 2 boxes with Brown and white from a BofA in a grocery store....skunk skunk.

Most BofA's are happy to order for and offer it up many times.

Exactly, now on the 12 box from them with zero keepers, but for some reason I keep ordering
