As a refresher I posted a picture of a college class ring I found in the driveway of a rental property I purchased. The ring had a name engraved in it so I set out to find the owner. One quick internet search and I had a likely owner, I called his practice and left a message, he called me back and after a short conversation it was confirmed it was his ring. Well today I had to drive a couple hundred miles for a meeting and would be passing nearby so we coordinated a link up and I was able to return that honker to it’s original owner. He told me he had a habit of fiddling with his ring and he must have dropped it. He had a big smile when he placed it back on his finger after 47 years!
