Stopped into our favorite house of thrift today.
First spotted a 10k 1990 class ring by Jostens for $5. Then, in the back, I noticed a $9 bag of watches.
16 in all and two extra bands. Two wound up and are keeping time, two are crap, another two are rusted, and the rest should be able to get running by my horologist friend.
Excited to get the Grossenbacher running and with the condition of the plating on an old Wittnauer.
