Bale Seal

Hello Forum,

When I found this I thought it was strange. I threw it in with all of my bullet lead. Today I got to thinking about it, and decided to clean it up. It’s a bale seal. Can anyone identify it? I found it in Rochester, NY. Thanks for looking.

I think your first pic needs to be rotated 180 degrees. Based on the typeface (a more modern sanserif) it appears to be post 1900 IMO.
