Bank closed

Just stopped at the bank to get cash and the bank is closed. Sign on the door says due to unforseen circumstances. Can't get cash from cash machine. Anybody else run into this?

False alarm...Covid hit and they are closed for 14 days!!!

I never had that problem, because as of late, I don't keep cash in the bank anymore, specifically for that reason. Kind of like the olden days, I just don't trust them. At banks in our area, if you want to withdraw $10,000 or more, you have to give them 2 days notice, because they don't keep that much cash in the vault. Your account is all digital and on paper these days. That's scary, and they can close down for more reasons than Covid. Sorry, but I want my "assets" in my domain, not there's.
