Went out today to a spot I've just recently discovered. I've had some good luck there recently and today I finally pulled a coin. I also discovered a ground hornet or wasp nest, I only got one sting so I was lucky. I didn't stick around to identify the particulars of the situation either.

Various pieces of junk/stuff/interesting things.

Not sure on this one....my buddy says trade silver. I'm not sure, small bracelet or something and it does appear to be silver.

I wonder if the flared silver piece could have been on the neck of a bottle of some sort. Very nice finds.Congrats

Yes it could certainly be from some kind of fancy Victorian tableware/serving/bottle kinda setup. Good call.

Congratualtions on the relics, coin and interesting silver recovery. :occasion14:

I say trade silver too!

Nice finds. I really like the token. Were the bank tokens considered legal tender?
Congrats

Wow! Congrats!
The trade silver would have looked good on a frilled French shirts arm...
But then ,Hudson Bay had trade silver headbands...l.o.l..
For fun ,look up Rocker engraving , and then Roulette tool engraving.

Your piece could have been reduced in size from original.

One example of a headband in the center section of the link.

Nice finds. I like the token. Congrats

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: I really like that one penny token.

Out of curiosity...why do you say that? Obviously the area I detect in is the first clue but just wondering?
I say trade silver based on the design, the engraving, and where it was found. I didn't look in my Indian Trade Goods book for a similar example though.

Great finds! It sure looks like a silver made in the same timeline as the Fur Trade stuff, using the same tools and techniques. Should be easy to see if it's plated, the piece appears to be broken.
Congratulations!
