Been a long time since I posted here but I have been relic hunting all the while. Me and a few relic hunt buddies got together this weekend for a hunt. Highlights for today were: 3 Confederate Buttons, 2 Colonial Coins and a beautiful 1841 Seated Liberty Half Dime!!! Lots of other Civil War relics including other buttons and bullets were dug by all.

Thank y'all for the kind remarks. That weight had us all stumped. neat piece though. I want to hope that it was for weighing their gold and some of that gold is still out there!
